Train Delays in Wiltshire

Delays are very frustrating, which is why the company that look after the track and infrastructure, Network Rail, do everything they can to prevent them and work together with Train Operating Companies such as Great Western Railway, and South Western Railway, to provide information that is useful and up-to-date to travellers.

Around 60 per cent of passenger delays are attributed to Network Rail. As well as infrastructure faults, this includes delays caused by vandalism, cable theft, weather and trespass, which account for around 20 per cent of the total.

Every four weeks Network Rail publish passenger train performance figures which are available to view for Great Western Railway and South Western Railway here.

In the unfortunate circumstance that you experience train delays in Wiltshire, find out more about any compensation or refund that you may be due here.
